The new premier the new ballet "Romeo and Juliet. History of Jerusalem" staged by V.Panov

The new premier the new ballet "Romeo and Juliet. History of Jerusalem" staged by V.Panov is expected in the summer of 2012. This is not only a beautiful, tragic love story of a young couple, but the story of the relationship between two nationalities. Arabs and Jews living side by side in one country and warring among themselves.

The enchanting music of Prokofiev, together with the Arab and Jewish folklore helps the audience to get deeper into the atmosphere of the events. Realistic scenery, beautiful lighting, choreographic dialogue and vividly dramatic dancers, will not leave anyone indifferent. Valery Panov was able to do the colorful crowd scenes on the streets of Jerusalem, and through the music and dance to convey the ambience of Middle East. Tender lyrical duets of the main dancers, dynamic duels and tragic scenes makes  the ballet unique and interesting for all spectators.

The performance ends with a symbolic song "It must be another way ...". Song - The Hope that once it will be peace between Arabs and Jews. Panov Ballet - another attempt to survive the fate of the characters, to see it through the eyes of modern man.

Person living in a world of hatred, acts of terrorism and violence. A man who so need a new religion. And the name of it - love.
